As you’re reading this post, we want you to know that we created the daily bread to encourage you in the word of God.
There is a scripture Philippians 2:12-13, Paul one of Jesus disciples writes, “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed – not only in my presence, but now in much more in my absence – continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his purpose.”
God’s word is never, intended to frightened people into acknowledging him. God is a God of love, grace, and mercy, but in order for you to know that you have to willfully, form a relationship with him. How, pick up his word, sit in his presence, tell him you don’t understand, who you are or what you’re going through, and why you have to be the one who goes through it. Sometimes just uttering, “God help me”, is enough. That right there is continuing to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
The good news is that God is your savior. He is waiting for you to come to him sin and all. All he asks of you is that you believe . . . all he needs is for you to come and that he will do what he says he will do and your part in all of this is to believe in him. What is belief? The Bible said Abraham believed God and God accounted that belief in him as righteousness. Righteousness is simply being true with God.
